Sandakan Skills
Kota Kinabalu · Serving Sabah

Skilled people and flying assets, kept working in the field.

Sandakan Skills builds two things in parallel — a trained technical workforce, and the maintenance capacity that keeps UAVs airworthy. They meet on site.

Two tracks, one operation

A drone programme is only as good as the people maintaining it.

So we do not treat training and fleet servicing as separate businesses. They run alongside each other, stage for stage, and converge when a project calls.

Aircraft

Intake & assessment

Identifying who is coming in, what they can already do, and which field roles they are heading for.

Fleet condition

Establishing what each airframe is, what state it is in, and what its service history looks like.

Technical training

Hands-on skills development, delivered practically rather than from a manual, with assessment against the work itself.

Scheduled servicing

Routine maintenance at set intervals, so aircraft come out of the cycle available rather than grounded.

Field readiness

Preparing crews for Sabah conditions — access, terrain, weather windows and working away from a workshop.

Repair & parts

Repair and component replacement, so a fault found on Friday does not cost the following week.

Deployment

Trained crew and serviceable aircraft go to site together, with operational support on the ground for the length of the project.

On site

What operational support actually means.

BEFORESite brief

What the project needs, where it sits, and the conditions crews will be working in.

STARTMobilisation

Personnel and airframes matched to the scope, and moved to site as one package.

DURINGField support

Someone on the ground for the duration — not a number to call from a different island.

AFTERReturn & service

Post-operation inspection, servicing and repair, feeding straight back into the aircraft track.
